Indigo Misaki | Medium
A limited edition of our Misaki pendant lamps, in collaboration with Blue Light Junctions. Handyed with locally sourced natural indigo.
The hand-folded lamp shade made of laminated linen fabric provides a bright, yet soft ambient light with an extra flow of down lighting in addition to the general ambient light. The material softly diffuses the light showing the beautiful texture of the linen and letting some of the folding lines of our origami shades shine brightly emphasizing the geometric pattern.

A Collaborative project
This unique pendant lamp is has been hand-dyed with locally grown natural indigo from Blue Light Junction, an experimental dye garden in Baltimore City.
What makes this collaboration special is that we used locally sourced indigo dye to give each lamp a unique touch for the creation of one-of-a-kind product. These lamps capture in a delicate way the beauty of indigo and underline the collective effort involved in the cultivation, extraction, and work of natural dyes.
(20% of the sale will go to support Blue Light Junction initiative).
